There are some songs you sing.
And then there are songs you perform.
Today, we're opening the doors to a brand-new collection at Royal Beats built around exactly that idea.
Welcome to The Audition Room
The Audition Room is our new home for professional backing tracks selected specifically for auditions, showcases, competitions and live performances.
These aren't simply songs we love.
They're songs that give performers an opportunity to do something with them - to build, interpret, tell a story and, most importantly, make an impression.
Whether you're preparing for an audition, entering a vocal competition, putting together a showcase or simply looking for a backing track that gives your voice room to shine, The Audition Room is being built for you.
Our philosophy is simple:
Walk in. Take your moment. Own the room.
And we're starting with… Skyfall
There probably couldn't be a more appropriate song to open the collection.
Skyfall, originally performed by Adele, has everything we look for in an Audition Room track.
It starts restrained.
It builds.
It gives the vocalist room to tell the story.
And when those final sections arrive, there's an opportunity to deliver a genuinely huge performance.
For our Royal Beats version, we wanted to capture that scale.
The result is a powerful, cinematic backing track designed to give the vocalist a strong musical foundation without getting in their way.
This isn't about simply recreating notes.
It's about creating something that feels great to perform to.
Instrumental or Backing Vocals – You Choose
We're also introducing something a little different with this release.
Skyfall is available in two versions:
Instrumental - £20
Our complete professional instrumental backing track, supplied as a high-quality WAV download.
Backing Vocals + Instrumental - £25
For just £5 extra, you'll receive the version featuring professionally recorded backing vocals plus the standard instrumental version included at no additional cost.
That means you can rehearse or perform with the additional vocal support when you want it while still having the completely instrumental version available too.
More Than Musical Theatre
The Audition Room also represents another step in what we're building with Royal Beats.
Musical theatre will always be an important part of our catalogue, but performers don't live inside a single genre.
Neither should we.
Alongside our existing Musical Theatre catalogue and You Choose, The Audition Room gives us another opportunity to explore incredible songs from different artists, genres and eras.
And Skyfall is only track number one.
There are plenty more to come.
